The Baltic artificial intelligence ecosystem continues to grow rapidly – the 2026 report identifies 282 AI companies, which is 53% more than a year earlier. Estonia maintains its leading position with 113 companies, Latvia has 95, and Lithuania has 74 AI companies. Latvia stands out especially in software and AI R&D, as well as having the largest group of AI-First companies in the region. The study analyzes the growth of Baltic AI companies, sectoral specialization, investments, development of computing infrastructure and the role of EU funding, while outlining the most significant opportunities for further ecosystem growth.
