We are proud to announce that the Latvian Association of Artificial Intelligence (MILA) has officially joined the Apply AI Alliance Stakeholders' Catalogue.
This catalogue serves as the European Commission’s "official phonebook" of trusted organizations. It is the primary resource used by the Commission to identify stakeholders for shaping AI policy, participating in sectoral workshops, and attending annual AI Office gatherings.
What This Means for the Latvian AI Ecosystem: As a member of this strategic forum, MILA acts as the direct conduit between our local innovators and European policy-shapers. Our inclusion ensures that Latvian challenges - from AI Act compliance to resource access - are at the top of the Commission's list when new regulations and support programs are designed.
Our Role in the Alliance:
• Direct Advocacy: Representing our members in the Commission's private governance discussions.
• Policy Shaping: Contributing to the annual AI Strategy governance and sectoral deep-dives.
• Regional Leadership: Bridging the gap between the Baltic-Nordic region and Brussels to ensure AI adoption drives local productivity.
By securing this seat, MILA reaffirms its commitment to being a neutral, trusted broker for the responsible advancement of AI in Latvia and across Europe.
