"Techritory 2025 is one of Europe’s leading digitalization and connectivity forums. This year, it will gather an international audience of 100 speakers and 2000 participants, covering topics such as 6G development, quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, data security, and sustainable digital infrastructure. To ensure that every participant stayed fully engaged, the organizers partnered with Tilde, integrating Tilde Event Assistant to provide real-time speech transcription and translation directly to participants’ devices. With participants joining in person (880+) and online from 63 countries, it was crucial that everyone could follow the discussions. Every keynote, panel, and presentation needed to be fully accessible, without language barriers and without the risk of missing out on essential content due to hearing impairments. Hiring live interpreters for more than 30 languages would have been overly complex and costly. The organizers needed a smarter, scalable solution to ensure that every participant engaged in real-time while maintaining the forum’s dynamic pace. To address this challenge, Techritory chose Tilde Event Assistant, an AI-powered tool that provides real-time speech transcription and translation. Throughout the two-day forum, participants could access live captions and translations in 39 languages directly on their devices by scanning a QR code. The QR code opened a web browser that displayed a real-time transcript of what was being said on stage. Thanks to AI-powered voice synthesis, participants could read the text in their preferred language or listen to a translated voice. The setup required no app installation and seamlessly integrated with the venue’s audio system, offering a simple and inclusive way for everyone to stay fully engaged. Tilde Event Assistant was available at three main stages of the forum: Opening Stage: 305 visitors Policy Stage: 105 visitors Innovation Stage: 65 visitors In total, 475 participants accessed real-time captions and translations during the two-day event, choosing to read or listen in their preferred language for greater comfort and engagement. The most popular translation languages were Latvian, German, Estonian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Greek, Bulgarian, Finnish, Croatian, and French. “Setting up Tilde Event Assistant was quick and easy, making it easy for us to focus on the event itself.
