Tilde provides a secure and confidential environment for translations using the large language model TildeOpen LLM together with the Tilde machine translation platform. Employees can translate texts, documents (Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, etc.) in a unified and convenient interface. Modern artificial intelligence functionalities, such as summary generation or the use of translation examples, improve user experience, refine the translation flow and provide additional accuracy in translations.
The solution significantly reduces translation costs and processing time by automating most translation processes and reducing the amount of manual post-processing, which improves the quality of translations and terminological consistency, which is especially important in multilingual communication. Integration with existing systems increases employee productivity and accelerates the flow of information. At the same time, a secure, customer-controlled infrastructure reduces data risks and provides a better customer experience thanks to faster and more accurate translations.
Tilde machine translation is a unified translation platform that combines machine translation, terminology management, translation memory, and a built-in CAT tool.
It provides instant, high-quality translations of text, documents, and websites, while maintaining formatting and terminological consistency.
The solution offers customized translation models for specific industries, as well as easy integration with existing systems and work tools through APIs.

The Latvian technology company Tilde has adapted its advanced AI-based translation platform for Ukrainian legal and administrative texts.
"The Latvian technology company Tilde has adapted its advanced AI-based translation platform for Ukrainian legal and administrative texts. The system will help translate large volumes of official texts in a secure and high-quality manner, reducing the burden of manual work and helping to ensure the use of legal terminology aligned with EU legislation. While its primary task is the translation of EU legislation, the AI platform can also support daily public sector administration tasks, such as translating emails and documents in a secure environment. The platform will combine several components already used by EU institutions and national governments: machine translation, translation memory and a terminology portal. They are specifically adapted to the needs of the Ukrainian public sector. Tilde CEO Artūrs Vasiļevskis: “We are delighted that artificial intelligence can be used to provide practical support for Ukraine’s path towards EU membership. Translating EU legislation is a very time-consuming task, and this secure, customized AI platform helps to speed up the process while ensuring that translations are accurate and reliable.” Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže: “Latvia fully supports criteria-based integration of Ukraine into the European Union. Latvia has consistently been one of the leaders in providing comprehensive political, financial, diplomatic and humanitarian support to Ukraine. Our experts have shared Latvia’s experience on the path to joining the European Union, as well as provided training and technical expertise. Implementing comprehensive reforms during wartime is a great challenge, including ensuring the translation of national legislation and its alignment with the entire EU acquis. Therefore, it is particularly important for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the artificial intelligence translation platform developed by the Latvian company Tilde and which Ukraine will use for this very purpose. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Latvia Anatoliy Kutsyvol: “We are very grateful to Latvia for this forward-looking initiative. The artificial intelligence platform is a real contribution to Ukraine’s path towards the European Union, and will help us align our legislation with European Union legislation more efficiently and accurately. This project demonstrates how technology and partnership can bring Ukraine closer to the European Union.” This solution is intended for key public sector institutions, including the State Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the AI Department of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine."
